About

A privacy-first community support platform

Hope for All Care helps people experiencing homelessness, their families, shelters, donors and neighbours support one another — without surveillance, and with the person at the centre of every choice.

Why we are building Hope for All Care

Finding a safe place to sleep, staying in touch with people who care, and getting help with everyday essentials often means juggling phone calls, paper forms and word of mouth. Families can lose touch with loved ones for long stretches. People who feel unsafe in a shelter may not know where to raise a concern without fear of losing their bed.

Hope for All Care brings these pieces together in one place, designed with dignity, consent and safety first.

Our principles

The person decides

People choose who they connect with and exactly what they share. Every permission can be withdrawn at any time.

No tracking

We do not track anyone’s location. Sharing that you are safe is always voluntary.

Collect less

We ask only for what a feature needs. You can use a nickname, and you can report safety concerns without an account.

Honest about limits

We say clearly what Hope for All Care can and cannot do — for example, reports do not dispatch emergency help, and shelter availability is never live.

Where the project is today

  • Hope for All Care is a development build. It is not yet a live public service.
  • Shelters, services, organizations and people shown in the app are fictional demonstration data and are labelled “DEMO DATA”.
  • Payments run in a sandbox: no real money moves, and contributions are not tax-deductible.
  • Our privacy and legal approach, including Canadian privacy law considerations, is under legal review.
  • It is open to people and organizations anywhere in Canada.
