Activities and cleanups
Workshops, community events and neighbourhood cleanups run by verified organizations. Some offer a DirectAid voucher once staff verify your attendance.
Voluntary, always
Taking part is voluntary. It never affects your access to shelter, food, housing or safety services.
Cleanup safety
Volunteers never handle needles, sharps or hazardous waste. Report them to the organizer so trained, equipped staff can deal with them. Hazardous cleanups are for trained staff only and are not open for sign-up.
